York Haven, Pa.: In the entertaining Gene Latta Ford Central Pa. Legends presented by Baker Door Company main event, Travis McClelland ended Jorjie Sweger’s BAPS dominance over the division and earned the victory in the 15-Lap feature event.
Sweger, who won the last five Legends races at the track, started second and led the first 13 circuits. She was involved in an incident with Seth Kearchner and Steve Seibert Jr. in Turn 1 and lost any chance at adding another win to her resumé.
McClelland started ninth and took over. He led the rest of the way and claimed the victory by .555 seconds over Robert Stough. Lincoln Kearchner, Logan Carbaugh, and Shaun Abney completed the top five.
