WINCHESTER, VA - Austin Bellmare our winner from earlier this year, would jump out to the early lead. Pole sitter Justin Cunningham wasn’t going to let Bellmare get away, as Cunningham would race all over the rear bumper of Bellmare. We would see Cunningham try to pass high and low throughout the twenty lap event. He just couldn’t find the extra momentum needed to pass leader Austin Bellemare. Austin would go on to win the second event of the year, keeping him undefeated at “The Action Track”.
Promoter Greg Gunter elected to start all 34 cars entered in the event, but series drivers felt it would be more comfortable starting 24. Mr. Gunter then gave the series the option to run a non-qualifers’ feature for the remaining drivers paying all cars. During this event we would see Travis Perry jump to the early lead and never look back as he took the win.
