 TECH PROCEDURES

The top three finishers will report directly to Don’s truck after the feature/Victory Lane. Do not stop at your trailer first.

Each driver shall draw a pill between 1 and 50. There shall be 50 items that can be checked listed with each item having a number 1-50. The three numbers chosen will determine the three items to be checked.

It shall be the driver’s responsibility to have the items ready to be checked on their individual cars. Then Don or his designate shall verify that the item is compliant.

After all three cars have been checked the payoff will be approved.

If a driver is found in violation he/she will forfeit any money won or points won for that race.

Don may at his discretion announce after the feature that there will be no tech that night and all finishers can go directly to their trailer. He may also tell any other finisher he chooses to report to tech after the race.

It is every driver’s responsibility to make sure that their race car meets the INEX rules. Driver’s wishing to check their cars can use the authorized gauges by coming to Don’s truck before the races begin.

8/16/2010 - Points
With the recent Path Valley race on August 13, 2010, Central PA Legends has raced 21 events.  The rules state that the driver's best twenty finishes will be counted towards their 2010 point total and that drivers must have a valid INEX License and have paid their Central PA Legends membership fee.  We still have some drivers who have not paid their CPL membership fee and/or do not have a valid 2010 INEX license.  On September 1st, I will recalculate the points to remove those delinquent drivers from the points totals of each race.  That means that if you finished behind a delinquent driver, you will receive a bump in points for that race.  Drivers have until the end of August to become current.

Williams Grove Ruling by INEX
The following letter was sent to Don Stevens from INEX Executive Director Darrel Krentz:

Don,
After our discussion regarding Williams Grove I have to say that INEX cannot support Legends on that size of track. Although many of your drivers could maneuver successfully at the speeds that that track would support, the potential for significant injury is too great.
INEX considers anything ˝ mile and up as too dangerous for Legends, especially on dirt.
I understand that this track is very close to you and it sure would be nice to be closer to home, but the safety of our competitors is paramount.
Thanks and keep up the good work.
Darrel
